First off he saved me 4-5K by not having to do a bathroom remodel and prevented a possible water heater problem. So bought a house and discovered a drain problem, first plumber said the whole shower/ tub would have to be removed and remodeled to fix, meaning multiple trades and lots of money estimates of 5-7K from various companies. So called Palm Bay Plumbing Services Inc. came out looked at the problem did a bit of testing and fixed the problem for only a few hundred dollars. While he was there he spotted the hot water heater which was a bit older and said I would probably want to replace that. So I booked him for the next opening he had. When he came out, he removed the old one put in the new one but also putting the new one in, repositioned the tank so it would be easy to access the controls and gained me about three more inches of usable space. So then after that he put a cap on the old sink drain and the sink and washer faucets all were replaced with easy to use levers. In short, hire him because he is practical, no fussing around with things you do not need and will alert you to problems rather than leave them. Also if it is something that is going to need another trade he knows other licensed people who do that work and can coordinate with them.

Palm Bay Plumbing Services saved my Thanksgiving weekend! Imagine a household full of in-laws, and having the kitchen faucet start leaking and become unusable! What a nightmare! After calling their service number on Saturday morning, Orlando Gatell (who happens to be the owner and manager) was at my home within the hour. He replaced the old, rusted-in faucet quickly, professionally, and at a such a modest cost for an emergency house call that I am still in disbelief! He then gave easy care and maintenance guidance and paperwork on the new faucet, and then shared some great information and advice related to the plumbing of my dishwasher, garbage disposal, and under-sink water filter. This is the only experience I have had with Palm Bay Plumbing Services, so I cannot speak for other employees that may work there, but the next time I have plumbing problems I will call and only ask for Orlando Gatell anyway. I have never before had a contractor or repairman that was this personable and professional.

Mr. Gatell did a great job. I thought I had a small problem with the toilet handle, but he discovered my tank had a crack and saved me perhaps a homeowners flooding claim. So he went and got the parts and spent a lot of time extra and solved my problem same day with a smile and no sign of frustration, that the job turned out to be more time consuming than we had expected, considering that he has a daily schedule with other customers. Overall I do highly recommend this company and will return whenever a plumbing job needs to be done again.

The technician arrived promptly on the day of the scheduled service. He was polite and knowledgeable. I described the leak and he went to the area to find the trouble spot. It happen to be on the other side of the wall from our refrigerator. He moved the refrigerator and was able to determine where the source of the leak was located. He cut a small hole in the drywall to access the pipe. He quickly replaced the pipe and the leak was corrected. He pointed out what had happened and was helpful. It was a very pleasant experience and I would definitely use Gatell again.

Satisfying my requirements rather than just doing the job and getting his money.Arrived on-time and discussed the appropriate water heater and then acquired the heater and installed it in avery timely fashion. He then installed a in-sink disposer i had on hand. Finally he checked all the toilets in the house and replaced the in tank mechanisms in those that required it. Orlando was very friendly and professional and never hesitated to provide data to questions I asked. Seemed to be more interested in doing a good job and satisfying my requirements rather than just doing the job and getting his money.

He did a super, thorough job and took pride in his work which is rare these days. He fixed the problem and we would definitely hire him again for sure and will recommend his services. He even followed up with a "thank you" note that included his business card. Unheard of, especially in Palm Bay, FL! Great touch!

Orlando responded on the same day as I called within hours of our conversation. I had a small leak in between the master shower and closet. Orlando identified the issue, made the appropriate suggestions and stopped the leak. I will be contacting the company again to do some upgrades to my home.
